Armitage Hobbit Humor - FanstRAvaganza 4

For a man who is almost always described as shy and reserved, Richard Armitage has a witty, wacky, wild and wonderful sense of humor.

He is very funny, often in unexpected ways and unplanned moments. His humor is  "of the moment" in response to what he's been asked or what he observes happening around him. He sneaks it in at a surprising moment and then often is back to being thoughtful and serious. You could describe it as a dry sense of humor. I think that's why fans sometimes miss the fact that he's joking.

But if you observe Richard Armitage well you can sometimes tell the funny moment is coming by the twinkle in his eyes, or the slightly naughty look and smile on his face.

What a gift to all his fans that this Adonis of a man has a "Woody Allen-ish" comic mind.

So in the belief that it is even more fun to see and hear some of these moments all together, I've made the video below for FanstRA4:

    1. Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it. Yes, the fan video moment!

If you haven't seen the entire interview with Strombo you should, one of RA's best I think.

  3. I loved that video, I have always thought Richard is very funny.

Aw he wanted to see Bambi when he was seven but it was sold out so instead he saw The spy who loved me. I was a big fan of James Bond movies when I was a kid too. My parents never let me see Bambi either or something. I didn't see it until I was an adult. Wonder if Richard has got some other opportunity to see Bambi.

    1. What a great question for RA! I hope he did get to see Bambi, eventually.

I also saw Bond movies growing up, my mother liked Sean Connery :)

  4. Great compilation, I hadn't seen the Getty image clips or the autographs clip at the end, I almost thought that was in NYC :)

    1. Hi! Glad you liked it. Yes, the autographs, the vid says it was NY, when he was coming back to his hotel in the evening. From what he's wearing I thought Toronto though, and not NY?

  5. Oh, can't wait to watch that video you have compiled (WiFi currently too slow to watch). I love humour - it makes life bearable, and all the better if my favourite actor has got a sense of humour. Mind you, I am always astounded at the originality and humour of actors from English-speaking backgrounds. Much much more witty than those from my native country. Can you guess where I am from? Haha.

    1. Danke/Merci Guylty! I could guess from what country, but then again, I wouldn't want an entire country to be angry with me! LOL

I hope that you like my video when you see it, and I like very much what you have to say about having a sense of humor, I agree.
