My Two Year Anniversary of Meeting Richard- December 6, 2012 - Hobbit AUJ New York Premiere

Enchanting Richard

Some enchanted evening
You may see a stranger,
a familiar stranger
Across a crowded room
And somehow you know,
You know even then
you will remember this moment
Again and again.

Some enchanted evening
Someone may be laughing,
You may hear him laughing
Across a crowded room
And night after night,
As strange as it seems
The sound of his laughter
Will sing in your dreams.

Who can explain it?
Who can tell you why?

(apologies to Rodgers and Hammerstein for altering some of their lyrics)

It was really a more innocent time, that first Hobbit Premiere year.

I am grateful every day that I was able to go that night, we were very lucky, and also privileged that we could attend, I'm very much aware of how rare it was. It was
an enchanted evening.

All the talented and friendly men (king, princes, dwarves, hobbits, wizard, gollum etc.) and women that we met that night were lovely, charming, funny, and friendly. It's not difficult to say wonderful things about The Hobbit cast because it's all true. Thank you all, it was very special for us to meet you and talk to you.

Wherever my three fellow RA friends that I went with on December 6, 2012 are today, I hope they will at some moment during their day stop and remember what a special night we shared two years ago.

We also met some more wonderful RA friends for tea earlier in the evening, and that was so much fun.

For Richard Armitage an Ella interlude

we can dream one day a Richard hug

    1. Thank you for reading jazzbaby, knowing this will be the end of the Hobbit trilogy of movies makes me nostalgic for that first wonderful Hobbit year.

    1. You're right, an unforgettable year. For some of the cast it was the first time on this type of international press junket, an exciting time for them.
