  1. Thank you,Fabo! :)
Do you know that I discovered Robin Ellis thanks to you? :)
I saw Sense and Sensibility from1971 then several fragments from Poldark ( on YT) and I think I understand why women were so crazy about him back then. Very good actor, charming man with lovely eyes and mouth +beautiful nose;) hihi
PS. I hope I will be able to fall in love with new Poldark ( *sigh* cute Aidan seems so young to me )

  2. Hello Joanna,

That makes me feel so good, that I introduced you to Robin Ellis. I'm so happy about that. He deserves to be better known.

He was so very dashing as Ross Poldark, I was a teenager at the time and just thought he was the most wonderful yet flawed man as Ross. I then found that the actor, Robin Ellis, seemed to be a charming and good man as well. He was, and still is, a very handsome man.
He never again achieved the fame he had during the Poldark days, I think they just didn't know how to cast him well, and he was so identified with the character of Ross at the time.

I have liked Aidan since Being Human, but I don't know how I will feel to see him as Ross Poldark (yes, very young). I have some problems with the trailer already. I really don't like the new trend of "modernizing" period dramas that we seem to have these days. I will be watching though, and wish Aidan well. Hope you do fall in love with Poldark.
