Is this the year to buy the tickets?
ReplyDeleteThe question is how to get the tickets? It is really hard to get in there for them. Last year they were gone in like 15 min. I'm in San Diego now and I'd love to go but it is going to be difficult to get those prized tickets.
DeleteI think this would be the time to buy tickets - the last film of the trilogy! It is complicated to figure out from the website what you have to do to get tickets, or rather a badge.
DeleteI read somewhere that they were also ending their previous system -- essentially, it's now harder to get the pass for the whole event.
DeleteThey don't sell tickets either until just before the event, meaning May or June I think. That is if they aren't changing that as well. If they sold them anytime it would have been sold out for months, since the last one actually. I don't know if it is impossible to get in there in the minutes it takes before it sells out but maybe some of the problem of being able to compete there is that many of us work and can't just sit and wait for it to open up.
ReplyDeleteMaybe everyone else has already registered but if not be aware that you need to register and get a Member ID in order to get a badge and be notified when tickets go on sale. I don't know if that makes a great difference in chances of getting in or not. Also each person has to have a Member ID in order to get the badge so apparently you can't buy multiple tickets.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the details Peggy. Makes it difficult for people to plan doesn't it? What a crazy system.
